I’m not a good cook but I’m italian, I cook. I make homemade dishes linked to family tradition. So they won’t be beautiful, they won’t be perfect and not even Michelin Guide. They will be normal, linked to the territory using Made in Italy ingredients:
Let’s start!
• Boil the potatoes in salted water;
• Mash them with a potato masher;
• Add 1 egg and salt if missing;
• Agglomerate the sifted flour until the mixture is compact;
• Make loaves of 2 cm thickness and cut them in order to obtain the gnocchi;
• Roll them up on the back of a fork or on the grater to give them the classic design;
• Place them on a floured surface;
• Throw them in boiling salted water. When they rise from the bottom, collect them with a slotted spoon;
• Dress them with the meat sauce, with butter and sage or with the tomato sauce;
I used a very good unfiltered oil and sage leaves with parmesan cheese. Yummy !!!!
